Opening: Front desk, float specialist

East Asheville Location: 946 Tunnel Rd

Preferred Experience:

  1. one+ year(s) in customer service (spa/wellness environment a plus!)

  2. excellent communication and listening skills

  3. professional appearance and demeanor

  4. positive attitude

  5. detail oriented

  6. must be able to lift 40 lbs

  7. must have an appreciation for floating and massage

  8. A plus: experience floating and a love for cleaning

Responsibilities

We provide a safe space for deep and transformational experiences. The front desk staff plays a pivotal role in ensuring clients feel welcome and taken care of. Our core values permeate everything we do from answering the phone, taking bookings and payments, conducting tours of the spa, orienting clients to the float tank, preparing herbal tea for clients as well as cleaning and organizing. Because we are a small family owned business there will be opportunities to take on special projects based on your experience and interests (we all wear multiple hats!) We also have monthly all-staff meetings where we connect with one another and work on growing the business in a mindful way.

We have in house laundry, four float tanks, a far infrared sauna, two workshop spaces and five massage rooms. The front desk staff work as a team to ensure the spa is running smoothly.

Hours:

AM Position 8am pm - 2:30 pm
PM Position 2:30 pm - 9:30 pm

All staff meetings held once per month

Compensation and benefits:


Minimum pay $20 per hr
